Life is filled with avenues that can render you helpless, void, and in a down spiral of grief. As we go through trials and tribulations, we oftentime forget that God yet sees and knows the very thing or things we are “going through.” I like to say going through because it shall pass. The way to cope with the circumstance is to trust God totally without reservation. Some people like to bargain with God and offer their trust if He does this or that. That is the wrong way of thinking, and thoughts like that will cause you to enter into a place of grief. Our faith must be solid in hope. And our hope must be wrapped in trust. Confidence comes out of trust. The more time you spend with someone the more you will discover their nature. You will learn their ways. As we spend time with God, we will develop confidence, which will produce trust and this will sky-rocket our faith.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
