“Grand Story”

Ware pens another magnificent story in Esquire: The Appeal. This is a story that is in the Esquire series, and it does not disappoint. I’ve read the other books in the story and definitely recommend reading them all. They are stand alone, but reading the stories from the beginning lends to the depth of the stories, and the connections with all the characters. It’s a grand plot that brings this reader back some of my favorite characters. It is always a joy to read this author’s stories. This author is not just a writer but a great storyteller. Esquire has a lot of depth, and the characters are far from perfect, which the flaws make it part of the joy to read. The author’s technique of intense characters and great plotlines is a gift. It’s a great story to follow and try to figure out what will happen next. This author’s characters develop and interacts well with the other characters. Yes, I am a fan of Ware. If he writes it, I’ll read it. I never have expectations of the stories I read, and with Ware, I am never disappointed. I look forward to reading more by this author. This book is a definite recommendation by Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews.36A66CD9-BA05-4868-BB70-29F44ACCE114

Every experience we encounter is not the end of our journey. As we live day-to-day, trials and tribulations may occur. You may feel as if your prayers are not even heard. The “trial” may seem as if death (spiritually) is on the horizon. When you’re in the midst of a “storm” it’s difficult to see a way out, if you’re only focusing on the natural.

The love that Jesus has for us is not superficial but agape. He gave His life as a ransom—the Lamb of God— atoning the sins of the world. He has overcome death, the grave, and Hell. Nothing can destroy you and overtake you as long as your faith rest in His hands.

Readers’ Favorite 5 Star Review

Theodore Esquire: The Trial by T.K. Ware is a fast-paced, action- filled novel that will draw you into the world of the characters from the outset. Although I managed to grasp the backstory of the characters, I would suggest you read the previous novels in this series to gain the maximum scope of the characters and plot. The tension was continuous as the plot began to unravel piece by piece. The story also examines the morals and values of the characters and how far they are willing to go for their own benefit and the lines they are unwilling to cross. The characters are compelling and fascinated me as much as the plot. The story kept me engaged from start to finish and the twists and turns, along with the conflicts, couldn’t have been better placed. I am definitely going to read the previous novels in this series.

In Theodore Esquire: The Trial by T.K. Ware, lawyer Theodore Esquire Walker wants nothing more than to make his mentor and first-rate lawyer, Charles Esquire Everson, proud. Everson has gained a reputation for being undefeatable and resolute in battling crimes of injustice. When Deacon Jerrick Bradley is arrested for murder, he swears his innocence. Theodore’s investigations reveal ties to a previous murder case involving a pastor from the same church and a corrupt law firm determined to stop anyone who gets in their way. Even though Theodore’s life is at risk, he is resolved to win the case and bring the true criminals to justice. Theodore is unaware that a detective just released from prison is also seeking revenge. Will Theodore survive long enough to enter the courtroom?

Bright Spots by John F. Greene

Why Bright Spots? In writing this book, my purpose is to identify the presence of light within those who have given thought to giving up. There have been many who have given up when faced with hardships. There are many who, as of this moment, are having thoughts of giving up. This book may inspire you (and them) to consider a different perspective and make a decision to live. There are moments in our lives when we experience situations that leave us feeling downhearted and dejected – a loved one’s betrayal, loss of a job, a secret unexpectedly revealed, an unsuccessful relationship, or simply being broke and broken.

Whatever it is that troubles you, it’s time to search for the light and walk out of the darkness. It is easier said than done, but, it must be done. As I have discovered through my own personal experiences and those of countless confidants, much of what we need is a listening ear and still lips. I have been fortunate enough to have great friends and supportive family in this regard. Although they might not all be considered biological family, they are people with whom I share a special bond. We can discover our bright spots in our interaction with persons or our time spent at places. I’ve discovered many of my personal bright spots without regard to the length of our association or depth of connection.
