Every experience we encounter is not the end of our journey. As we live day-to-day, trials and tribulations may occur. You may feel as if your prayers are not even heard. The “trial” may seem as if death (spiritually) is on the horizon. When you’re in the midst of a “storm” it’s difficult to see a way out, if you’re only focusing on the natural.
The love that Jesus has for us is not superficial but agape. He gave His life as a ransom—the Lamb of God— atoning the sins of the world. He has overcome death, the grave, and Hell. Nothing can destroy you and overtake you as long as your faith rest in His hands.
Why Bright Spots? In writing this book, my purpose is to identify the presence of light within those who have given thought to giving up. There have been many who have given up when faced with hardships. There are many who, as of this moment, are having thoughts of giving up. This book may inspire you (and them) to consider a different perspective and make a decision to live. There are moments in our lives when we experience situations that leave us feeling downhearted and dejected – a loved one’s betrayal, loss of a job, a secret unexpectedly revealed, an unsuccessful relationship, or simply being broke and broken.
Whatever it is that troubles you, it’s time to search for the light and walk out of the darkness. It is easier said than done, but, it must be done. As I have discovered through my own personal experiences and those of countless confidants, much of what we need is a listening ear and still lips. I have been fortunate enough to have great friends and supportive family in this regard. Although they might not all be considered biological family, they are people with whom I share a special bond. We can discover our bright spots in our interaction with persons or our time spent at places. I’ve discovered many of my personal bright spots without regard to the length of our association or depth of connection.
But everything is the totality of variables, created by your environment, and filtered through your perception. Your happiness is based on what you consider happiness is. Never allow someone else to redefine your idea of happiness.
Happiness mean a state of being happy─ feeling or showing pleasure or contentment.
Based on the definition, I can’t determine your level of happiness by my perception. Only “you” can decide what you perceive happiness is. In the area of relationships, the epitome of that union rest in finding a significant other to enjoy life with. Sometimes people settle for “superficial happiness” and forget their standards because of loneliness. When you give into the emotions of loneliness, it will make you search out for fabricated love in all the wrong places. It’s only fabricated because you make yourself feel a certain way when the evidence screams in your face─SHE IS NOT THE ONE! HE IS NOT THE ONE! RUNAWAY! GOD HAS SOMETHING BETTER FOR YOU!
How do you know when that special person is the “one” for you? Have you ever been with someone and couldn’t figure out why you’re with that person?
God Doesn’t Condemn You, Neither Do I by T.K. Ware is a wonderful look at God’s mercy and forgiveness of sin. The authors introduce readers to the idea that as Christians we may condemn ourselves for our sins, but God offers forgiveness through the blood of Jesus. Adequately used scriptures are referenced to remind Christians that if they sin they have an advocate in Christ Jesus our Lord, who is able to sympathize with our human weaknesses. The book also teaches how one can learn to walk in the Spirit and to avoid the pitfalls of sin, and not to give into temptation.
A powerful book on the concept that God does not condemn those who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ to forgive sins. This book is well written and timely. It carries a message that is an important one for all Christian believers to read and learn from. It offers a positive approach to dealing with and overcoming sin. This is truly a wonderful book that no church library or Christian should be without. I truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading other books by this authors. I highly recommend God Doesn’t Condemn You, Neither Do I to Christians everywhere.
