“When I hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?’”
– Sydney Harris
“You may find the worst enemy or best friend in yourself.” – English Proverb
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty(snobbish, scornfully arrogant) spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18 KJV
Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized. In the first, it is ridiculed. In the second, it is opposed. In the third, it is regarded as self evident.”

Maintain Your Peace of Mind

Day Thirty-Four

In life, we will encounter heart wrenching devastating blows. I’m talking about the type of blows which are quick as lightning and destructive as a bulldozer crashing through a plastered wall. Sometimes people will either upset you or offend you in such a way that the very thought of them brings an unwavering feeling of disgust. To compound the situation, they may repeat the process knowingly and unknowingly. The key to not being so bothered by another person’s actions or influenced by their uncontrolled emotions is to simply let go. Let go of the thoughts that flood your mind when he or she say something offensive. Let go of the thoughts that crash upon your mind when they totally disrespect you as a human being.

Let go of the thoughts of betrayal and all other destructive thoughts against your personality especially when you’re dealing with someone of the same faith. Always show love one toward another regardless to personal feelings. Prayer is always the answer when those thoughts crash upon your mind. Don’t pray in vain or for selfish agendas. Don’t pray for God to send a wave of misfortune their way, but pray for peace. Pray for a peace of mind. Sometimes people react because of things their battling or out of a physical need. It’s a subconscious cry out for help.

Do not render evil for evil, simply pray. It takes a strong person to not respond when an individual calls you all types of derogatory names. In the end, God will smile upon you for not acting out of character.

A Shift of Thoughts

Day Twenty-Four: A Shift of Thoughts

A young man walked beside me one day and I could feel his burdens. A thought pulsated within my veins and rose like a peculiar fragrance. I shared words of wisdom with him and went about my way. He took a few steps forward and paused as those insightful words sat upon his mind. He then looked back at me as if he understood.

“If you can’t change whatever you are going through by thinking about it, simply stop thinking about it.”

Those profound words speak about the power of the mind. Our thoughts can control our physical output in a positive or negative way. As we shun away from all thoughts of negativity, our life will flow in a prosperous way.nice

Day Twenty 💥It’s Waiting to be Activated💥
I think therefore I am, composed of intrigued thoughts, ideas and purpose.
Sir Poetry 21century poet.
We are endowed with the ability to bring the image within our mind into reality. There is a power within; a vision by the mind’s eye that can be captured and manifested. By the fruit of our tongue we can speak things into existence. As the scripture declares, ‘Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.’ We are a creation of limitless possibilities, uniquely designed with royalty by an Almighty God. The only thing that can stunt your productivity is the image you see in the mirror. It’s vital to always think highly of oneself but don’t be high-minded. In other words, don’t think of yourself above your fellow man. We all have a race to run at our own pace.

As we grow through experiences, we will gain knowledge & wisdom. When dealing with situations, it behooves us to discern the atmosphere before we judge prematurely. When an individual react from the seat of emotions, their vision can be blurred with feelings. It is not our job to judge or criticize our fellow man but to respect him or her for their individuality. Remember, we are all running this race of life.
💥What makes the race easier and prosperous is when the participants understand who they are and realize the power that lingers within. The image you see in the mirror is compacted with so much potential and authority, that’s simply waiting on you to release it.💥
