In Theodore Esquire: The Trial by T.K. Ware, lawyer Theodore Esquire Walker wants nothing more than to make his mentor and first-rate lawyer, Charles Esquire Everson, proud. Everson has gained a reputation for being undefeatable and resolute in battling crimes of injustice. When Deacon Jerrick Bradley is arrested for murder, he swears his innocence. Theodore’s investigations reveal ties to a previous murder case involving a pastor from the same church and a corrupt law firm determined to stop anyone who gets in their way. Even though Theodore’s life is at risk, he is resolved to win the case and bring the true criminals to justice. Theodore is unaware that a detective just released from prison is also seeking revenge. Will Theodore survive long enough to enter the courtroom?

Theodore Esquire: The Trial by T.K. Ware is a fast-paced, action-filled novel that will draw you into the world of the characters from the outset. Although I managed to grasp the backstory of the characters, I would suggest you read the previous novels in this series to gain the maximum scope of the characters and plot. The tension was continuous as the plot began to unravel piece by piece. The story also examines the morals and values of the characters and how far they are willing to go for their own benefit and the lines they are unwilling to cross. The characters are compelling and fascinated me as much as the plot. The story kept me engaged from start to finish and the twists and turns, along with the conflicts, couldn’t have been better placed. I am definitely going to read the previous novels in this series.
