Was this a novel or biography? The events that took place in this story happen so often in church. That it is sad. As Ebony Rose told her story I wanted to feel sympathy for her, but I will admit most of the time I was angry with her. And then she would say some of the most profound things through her personal confessions, that let you know none of us are exempt from falling prey to sin…
Ebony was a great example of how she allowed her fleshy desires take her focus off of God. We all have sinned so there’s no room for judgment against anyone. I enjoyed reading this book and hearing Ebony’s testimony. This was an eye opener and I highly recommend everyone to read this, especially the saints….

It is a Christian book but the messages contained within are not aimed solely at the Christian community. At one point during a confessional, Ebony asks that we not judge her and that is something that happens all too quickly these days – people being judged and tried before they have had a chance to tell their side.
