Insert from Poet Talk

O’ Gracious KING

I trust in thee O’ LORD, who is able,

To meet all of my expectations,

My thoughts are but whispers running, across His Mind.

O’ Gracious KING

My joy yet remains because of you

Every trial and tribulation I face,

I understand it is only sent my way,

To equip me-

With the experience; as stones are added to my pyramid of hope and faith.

When I look back and see how far I have come,

I know it’s because of your love, mercy and grace.

And when I was debilitated with sorrow and couldn’t see my way out

As a mighty eagle you came down and lifted me up high above

All the problems, situations, circumstances, heartaches, disappointments, resentments, frustrations, and trials

Once I gathered strength, you sent me back through them

With the assurance that I am not alone;

And when they seem overbearing …

In my weakness your strength is made known.

I walk this walk and take this journey never alone.

But as a man and His GOD

You have never failed nor forsaken me,

Provision you have made daily, Healings you have sent, Deliverance has been decreed.

As I transition to a Son who trust in thee.

Insightful Words of Inspiration- that will minister to your body, soul and spirit.

AWAKE to YOUR INHERITANCE

There is so much potential within us to overcome ANY situation. Take it not likely to be the children of GOD. That is not an ordinary title that anyone can proclaim. Only a selected, chosen, divinely appointed people can walk under that banner. So why are we acting out of character? If we believe the Word of GOD…there be evidence within our actions. Even when we are burden down, emotional drained, weary, down trotted, etc. All of these words have a name and everything with a name has to bow to the name of Jesus. Everything is subject to GOD….and we are His children…so why live in defeat? Whether it is self defeat or an outward act. We must step into the word and live in its spirit. We have the creative ability to speak things in existence. To bring the intangible into the tangible. Spirit materializing……He gave His life not just for us to live, but for us to live more abundantly. We are spiritual beings within a physical body. The more we allow negative thoughts to weigh upon us, they will begin to affect our physical body and even dampen our spirit. We must awake to the reality of who we are. The only thing that can prevent or stop us from walking in our inheritance is pride, greed, doubt, disbelief, and the imprisonment of the carnal mind, which is enmity against GOD. Well, what does the word of God say about us….

(Gen 1:26)And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

(Romans 12:1-2) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

(John 1:12)But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

(Galatians 3:26)For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

(Corinthians 10:15)There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

(Luke 10:19)Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

(Psalm 45:1)My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

(Matthew 5:13-16)Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

(IJohn 4:4)Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

(2Kings 6:6)And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

(Psalm 55:22) Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved

(1Peter 5:6-7)Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

THIS IS WHAT GOD DECLARES

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

(JEREMIAH 32:27)

Let go and Let God

In life we may face challenges that push us to the brink of quitting. When situations seems overbearing, the truth found within the scriptures seems to slip our mind. We then attempt to fix the problem, when in fact our efforts can cause it to become worse. Certain situations can be handled or controlled by physical action. However, when the issue at hand seems to be more than what we can handle, we must trust GOD. He has already spoke about any and every situation we may encounter. Some things are brought on by our selfish act, but yet even those can be maneuvered or altered to benefit out well-being. Wisdom and certain knowledge only comes through experiences. The closer we get to GOD , the more likely we are able to handle whatever life throws at us. Oftentimes we enter emotional areas and the inner feelings bleed outwardly to lessen the impact on the mind. We forget that GOD sees everything and He knows the intentions of the heart. It is us, who don’t know at all times why or what motivates a person.  Our trust must be anchored in the Word of GOD.  As we allow the spirit to lead.

Proverbs 3 5-7

5.Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Psalm 23 1-3

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake

The Spirit of Words

There are several biblical scriptures that deal with our speech. Or the words we allow to echo from the profundity of our soul.

Ephesians 4:29 declares… Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Psalm 19:4 declares…Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 139:4 declares…For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

Proverbs 15 1-2 declares…A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness

Colossians 3:16 declares…Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 declares..Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Colossians 4:6 declares…Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

There are several other scriptures I could have listed. These are just a few. As believers we must understand that words are spirit. Which mean they are not tangible; cannot be contained. With that being the case, we must be mindful of the things we allow to escape the confinement of our lips. This also includes typing, texting or voice-messaging. Once it is said or projected….or in the case for texts….Once it is sent…it cannot be undone. Its actions will take its course. Texting, messaging, and emails are all the manifestations of thoughts; which are words not uttered, but yet spoken. Take for example the words “I have a dream..” Those are famous words that continue to echoed throughout the world. Many of us were not physically present when those words were proclaimed, but yet we still feel their impact within this century. Many times we respond from the seat of emotions and certain words are uttered which has the effect to destroy or cause damage one way or another. As a result, we entered a place against what the word of God declares. This could result in many things, ill-treatment, misunderstandings and in some cases violent accidents.

Certain words uttered can cause physical or emotional damage. Take for example, if a gentleman of a different persuasion calls another gentle a derogatory statement, his response to that particular words may be violence. Or if a woman is called a BIT**.That particular word can cause emotional damage if spoken from a loved one. Or if someone says “I love you” the sound of those words cause the heart to melt in compassion. ***I am simply talking about the power of words***

We never know how or the impact our words (uttered, emailed, texted, voicemail or messaged) has or have affected someone. That’s why we must be careful when we utter certain words. Everyone interrupts words differently. Our intent may be one thing, but the reception of the words or message may be another.

Even Jesus said my words are spirit and life. Which means they are not governed by the physical touch and has the potential to empower.

The is a passage of scripture that declares Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth,

Within the word corrupt, lies a word called vitiate. It means destroy, which means ruin. We never know if something we said may have destroyed of damaged someone emotionally or psychologically. It behooves us to consider the things we say and allow the spirit to intercede when we are at the point of speaking from an emotional standpoint. As we allow the spirit of GOD to reign in our lives…He will give and govern the things we allow to escape from our vessel.

James Chapter 3 verses 5-13 declares Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

The Writings of Epiphany II

A poetic journey through biblical characters, From Adam to Jesus. Each poetic expressions paints a vivid picture that will capture your imagination as carry you through the insightful creation. This is a concise expression of selected biblical characters. To understand in completion, we solicit you to read the word of GOD.

Purpose Driven by Hope

We each have a divine purpose planted within the core of our being. As we travel through life, we learn from experiences and often times forget about our divine purpose. Some people seemed to have gifts that lead their steps. While others have talents. A talent can be learned or acquired. However, a gift is freely given for a particular purpose. We must use our gifts to Glory the Lord God Almighty. It is when our gifts are in proper connection, that we will see the expansion of their identity. Once we understand our purpose, it behooves us to pursue it as one looking for a hidden treasure. If someone told you they have….hmmm one trillion dollars to give you but you must find it within a certain place, where they have hide it. I am sure you would do all you could to locate this treasure. Others may even become violent in pursuit of that particular treasure. When they find it, joyous would not be a word that  could explain or capture that moment of excitement. We must duplicate the same energy or determination one would posses in searching for that lost treasure, as we seek and walk in our treasure. The treasure we posses is hope. The Word of GOD says

Colossians 1:27

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

So our purpose is driven by hope. And in the essence of hope, our joy yet remains as we live this present life, seeking to and living circumspect to:

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

And that very light is:

John 1:4

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
